In Old Town Seal Beach, there are a good number of blocks that have adopted the Neighbor4Neighbor program. This past Sunday, 8th Street joined them. The block got together with Wink Chase, Pattie Laird, West Orange County CERT, along with the Seal Beach Police Department, Orange County Fire Authority, and Edison to learn about how they can help each other and become more prepared for the next great emergency that strikes them. And it’s not only the ones that make the headlines, sometimes it’s something personal like a family member having a heart attack or stroke – and knowing you can call one of your neighbors to help. That’s why Neighbor4Neighbor is so important for every block in Old Town, Seal Beach, Western Orange County and all of Southern California to adopt. Neighbor helping neighbor starts with you.
