The West Orange County CERT Trailer Team is the most active team in our CERT Program. The team is proud to work to support the officers of the cities we represent. As members of West Orange County CERT, the Trailer Team is also trained to provide assistance in the event of a major disaster. The trailer(s) help facilitate that objective.
The team operates three trailers. Two are housed in Seal Beach and the third is housed in La Palma. The primary trailer in Seal Beach is utilized for most call-outs. Typical call-outs include: DUI/CDL checkpoints, sandbagging and Neighbor4Neighbor events – to name a few. The secondary trailer in Seal Beach is an equipment trailer and as such it is used less frequently. The La Palma trailer is currently utilized within the city of La Palma.
The trailer team welcomes any member of WOCC to join our team. No experience is necessary. We are happy to show you how you can help and how we keep everyone safe and organized.
